This Beer is a New Zealand take on an American Double India Pale Ale, but instead of using American hop varieties we use a New Zealand Hop varieties to yield a truly kiwi taste. The New Zealand hop we use tends to give less citrus aromatics and yield a different flavour profile than American or British varieties. The nose is pine grass, passionfruit and lavender, the huge palate has a soft bitterness and is balanced by the malt sweetness of the base beer.
All in all it provides an extremely drinkable heavy India Pale Ale that hides its alcohol well. Pairs well with:
- Curry
- Spicy Pizza
- Strong Cheese
We hope you enjoy!
