Everybody knows lagers, everybody knows pale ales. Enter a new beer style, the India Pale Lager.
To brew this beer we create a normal IPA recipe and then brew it exactly how we would an IPA, right up until fermentation time. Then we use lager yeast and ferment at a lower temperature which slows down the fermentation. Therefore half the process is Pale Ale, half the process is Lager, hence India Pale Lager. This in turn creates a punchy IPA on the nose and palate and the crispness of a lager on the finish.
Collision Course is jam packed with US grown Citra and Mosaic as well as New Zealand grown Nelson Sauvin and Cascade. These hops gives off a fruity notes which are balanced by a nice light malt body, a perfect drink to accompany the frist BBQ of spring.
