100% Pinot Noir hand selected in the vineyard for this year’s Rosé wine from clones 114 and 667. The grapes were 100% destemmed and rested on skins to obtain colour and aromatics for 3 days. The grapes were then lightly pressed and transferred to a closed top stainless steel tank. Fermentation took 5 weeks and was stopped with 2 – 3 g/l on natural residual sugar from the grapes to achieve the balance required.
Effortlessly elegant and balanced with a tooth tingling acidity. A delicate fruit profile of redcurrant, crushed strawberry, raspberry and some Turkish delight. All these elements create an example of a 100% Pinot Noir Rosé from Central Otago. We think you will love it.
The joy of a Rosé, it is the perfect food partner. A juicy steak from the BBQ, grilled prawns, fish or chicken. This wine is so versatile carry on with it through dessert, pavlova with freshly whipped cream, a hint of rose water and some sweet kiwi fruit. Try it – you will really see what a winner this wine is to pair!
Best to drink young. To preserve the delicate floral and fruit aromas, we bottle it as young as possible and send it to you to enjoy in its prime.
