Cognac Croizet was established in 1805, by Léon Croizet, then a sommelier to Napoleon Bonaparte’s High Command, with reliance on his family’s holding of vineyards in Saint–Même–Les–Carriéres, situated in Cognac’s most prestigious Cru, Grande Champagne where the 58 hectares of Cognac Croizet’ s vineyards still reside.
A beautifully crafted Cognac, XO Gold is a superior blend of eaux-de-vie taken from unique stocks of matured cognacs, each with a minimum 10 of years in French oak casks, reputed for its elegance and complex floral notes. Showing a delicate, restrained complexity on the nose and palate, it reveals a delicious fruitiness, combined with light spicy notes of cinnamon and tobacco.
Winner of double gold medals, both 2004 and 2005 in the World International Spirits Competition in the USA. Presented in a gift box suitable for any occasion.
